How to adjust the pressure of the hydraulic piston pump

Mar 17, 2023

1. In the pump head position of the hydraulic plunger pump, find a hexagonal head similar to a screw (there is a black or yellow small plastic cap), and there is a nut, the nut plays a locking role, you first loosen the nut, and then rotate the screw clockwise, then the pressure of the pump should increase.

2. After slowly rotating, you should be able to hear the sound of oil leakage - this sound is from the safety valve of the system, the safety valve works with hydraulic oil passing through, and the temperature of the safety valve itself will be obviously on the body.

3. The safety valve is also adjusted high, probably 3-5 turns clockwise, and then adjust the screw of the pump head, in the process of adjustment, there should be a mechanical pressure gauge, connected to the system, pump outlet pressure measuring point, adjust the pressure to 22Mpa.

4. Then rotate the safety valve body screw counterclockwise, see that the mechanical gauge pressure is at 22Mpa when the safety valve has sound, overoil, work, and then rotate the safety valve clockwise about 15-20 degrees, then the adjustment work is basically over.
